Eleanor Manning

 

(1884–1973)

American architect. With Lois Howe (1864–1964) she established a successful partnership, later joined by Mary Almy (1883–1967). The firm became known for its low-cost housing, e.g. at Mariemont, OH, the industrial suburb of Cincinatti, planned by John Nolen (1869–1937). Other housing schemes included Old Harbour Village, Boston, MA (1934–7).
