Review

Despite the inherent contradiction between Christianity and industrial music (which usually involves bands opposed to religion), R.E.X. Records released the Electro-Shock Therapy compilation of Christian industrial music, including the bands Aleixa, Toxic Church, Situation Taboo, the Terminal Generation, the Way Sect Bloom, Arbitrage, Angst and Gadget, among others. Most of the bands seem to have been influenced by the monsters of '80s industrial-rock (Skinny Puppy, Front 242, Ministry, KMFDM, Nine Inch Nails), and they stick to either danceable forms or heavier thrash. ~ John Bush, Rovi
