Elidir Sais
Elidir Sais (1190 – 1240) was a Welsh language poet. His sobriquet Sais ("English") suggests he was conversant with the English language ; a fact so unusual as to earn him his "nickname."
Elidir's few surviving works ar religious poems on the theme of the Holy Trinity and a poem remonstrating with Llywelyn ab Iorwerth, king of Gwynedd.
