Ellen Bry (born February 13, 1951) is an American actress. She is best known for her portrayal of nurse-turned-vigilante "Shirley Daniels" on the hospital drama St. Elsewhere.
Bry was a graduate of the Stamford, Connecticut public schools and Tufts University (cum laude). She found out about auditions for St. Elsewhere because her boyfriend and future husband John Masius was one of the show's creators and producers.
