Rock en Espagnol is exactly that, and we mean "rock" as in Bill Haley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard, and Elvis Presley. The group consists of five fellows aged 18-22: Enrique Guzman (lead voice, second guitar), Jesus Martinez (lead guitar), Armando Martinez (drums), Rogelio Tenorio (bass), and Sergio Martel (piano). Although the covers of "Good Golly Miss Molly" and "Jailhouse Rock" (included in the LP) apparently were minor hits, evidently the band abided by the album's statement they had "no thought of a professional career."
