Blackpool, England's Enchantment briefly figured among the thriving doom/death scene of the early '90s with their goth and thrash-infused variation of the form. Founded in 1991 and consisting of vocalist Paul Jones, guitarists Marc Gibson and Steve Blackmore, bassist Mark Tierney, and drummer Chris Sanders, Enchantment's 1993 demo, "A Tear for Young Eloquence," was produced by Peaceville Records boss Hammy, and led to a subsequent album deal with Germany's Century Media for 1994's Dance the Marble Naked debut. Sadly, the disc got lost in the shuffle of contemporary giants like Paradise Lost and My Dying Bride, and Enchantment quickly fell apart, with the band's members never to be heard from again. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia, All Music Guide
