Enköping (ān'chö'pĭng), city (1990 est. pop. 18,670), Uppsala co., E Sweden, near Stockholm. It is an industrial center whose manufactures include machinery and vehicles. Enköping was founded c.1300 and is one of Sweden's oldest cities.
