Biography
As far as role choice is concerned, Cuban-American supporting actor Enrique Murciano Jr. arrived in Hollywood at something of a low ebb -- with an appearance in one of the most embarrassing duds of the late '90s: the action thriller Speed 2: Cruise Control. Mercifully, his constituted a brief turn, and Murciano subsequently evinced a more acute predilection for solid material. He was memorable as Ruiz in Ridley Scott's Mogadishu-themed war drama Black Hawk Down (2001) and as Jeff Foreman in Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous (2005), but is probably best known for his ongoing portrayal of Missing Persons Agent Danny Taylor in the crime-investigation series drama Without a Trace, opposite Anthony LaPaglia and Poppy Montgomery. Murciano also signed for a small role in Michelle Danner's 2006 indie comedy How to Go Out on a Date in Queens. ~ Nathan Southern, All Movie Guide
He made his feature film debut in Traffic, and also appeared in the 2001 film Black Hawk Down. It was here that he met Jerry Bruckheimer, leading to him being offered a role in Without a Trace. His additional film credits include a large supporting role in Miss Congeniality 2 as Jeff Foreman, How to Go Out on a Date in Queens ,The Lost City, Mancora as Iñigo and LA Suite. He was also seen on the short-lived MTV soap opera "Spyder Games" in 2001 as Francisco Torres. He also appeared in the music video "Yes We Can" and in the video directed by Demi Moore "Presidential Pledge".
Murciano dated actress Molly Sims for several years.[4] Murciano is dating British model and actress Lily Cole, with whom he was last seen at Salma Hayek's wedding.[5] He is of Cuban descent, and can speak Spanish well, as shown in episode 6 of season 4 of Without a Trace.
