Eric Felece Curry (born February 3, 1970 in Thomasville, Georgia) is a former professional American football defensive end who played seven seasons for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Jacksonville Jaguars from 1993 to 1999 in the National Football League. Curry is famous for hugging the NFL Commissioner, Paul Tagliabue, when he was called by the Bucs in the 1993 Draft.
Curry became a member of the Theta Delta Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc, while at the University of Alabama in 1991. He was part of the University's National Championship Football Team, coached by Gene Stallings. Curry lives in Jacksonville, FL.
