Biography
American screenwriter Eric Taylor was active in Hollywood from 1937 to 1958. At Universal, Taylor co-scripted such melodramas as Black Friday (1940), Son of Dracula (1943), and Phantom of the Opera (1943). At Columbia, he worked on six entries in the Ellery Queen series and also toiled away on the studio's Crime Doctor and Whistler films.
