Erik Martin Dilan (born 1974) currently represents District 37 in the New York City Council, which comprises the Brooklyn neighborhoods of Bushwick, Cypress Hills, East New York, Ocean Hill, Brownsville, and Wyckoff Heights.

Dilan was first elected to the City Council in 2001, succeeding his father Martin Malave Dilan in office. Malave-Dilan previously represented District 37, and now represents District 17 in the New York State Senate.

He currently chairs the Council's Housing & Buildings Committee, while also serving on the Rules, Privileges & Elections, Zoning & Franchises, and Rules committees.

Prior to his election to the Council Dilan was a member of Community School Board 32. He holds an Associate of Science in Business degree from St. John's University.
