Ervin Randle (born October 12, 1962 in Mumford,Texas) is a former American football linebacker in the NFL. He played in the NFL from 1985-1992 for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs. He attended Baylor University for college. He is the older brother of John Randle. He grew up extremely poor in a 3 room shack with no indoor plumbing. As a child, he picked produce to contribute to his family's income. While attending Hearne High School, he cleaned the gymnasium for free lunches. He was a high school Texas Football Magazine Blue Chip Schoolboy all 3 years while playing both offense AND defense. Besides all this--he was his senior class's president!
