Ethelburga of Faremoutier (Ædilburh of Faremoutier, Aubierge of Faremoutier) (d. 664). Daughter of Anna, king of East Anglia, she became a nun at Faremoutier-en-Brie and eventually succeeded her half-sister Saethrith as abbess. She started to build an abbey church, but it was uncompleted at the time of her death. Her body was buried there, but was translated seven years later to the church of St. Stephen as it was found to be incorrupt. She is mentioned in the Roman and French Martyrologies as well as the English ones. Feast: 7 July.
