Eti-Osa is a Local Government Area in the Lagos Division, of Lagos State, Nigeria. Within Eti-Osa are several important areas of Lagos, including Victoria Island, Lekki, and Ikoyi. Before the Nigerian capital moved to Abuja, Eti-Osa was the seat of the national capital[1].

Demographics

Eti-Osa's people are predominantly from the Awori Yoruba subgroup, and Nupe and Gambari from the north of the country[2].

Business and Industry

There is little industry within Eti-Osa. Most residents work in fishing, farming, and trading. However, due to it being the former location of the national capital, Eti-Osa is home to many large domestic and international businesses[3].
