Eu Sei Que Vou Te Amar: I Love MPB is a compilation of 14 Caetano Veloso songs, with lyrics touching the ever present and universal theme of love. All 14 tracks are very beautiful, making this an excellent compilation. Among Veloso's own compositions, there are the enormously popular "Você é Linda" and the bittersweet "Queixa," as well as rather unknown yet lovely songs as "Rapte-Me Camaleoa," "Muito," and "Muito Romântico." Veloso's delicate versions of Tom Jobim's "Eu Sei Que Vou Te Amar" and Peninha's "Sozinho" are of course also magnificent. The most unexpected track included here is perhaps the dramatic live recording of "Dom de Iludir," from Veloso's Noites do Norte tour in 2002.
