1914Bransford in Arcadia. Rhodes, regarded by many as the best western writer of the early twentieth century, expands his popular story "The Little Eohippus," which had first appeared in the Saturday Evening Post in 1912. The resulting novel features cowboy hero Jeff Bransford, who refuses to compromise the woman he loves to clear himself of a murder charge.
