Wikipedia: European Volleyball League

The European Volleyball League is an annual continental volleyball tournament, introduced in 2004. The event is the European equivalent of the FIVB World League. After a preliminary league round the tournament ends with a Final Four, hosted in one city. The women's tournament introduced in 2009.
