Evan Goldberg (born 1982) is a Canadian comedy television and film writer and producer from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Goldberg attended Point Grey Secondary School in Vancouver, British Columbia and then McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada before joining the staff of Da Ali G Show with childhood friend Seth Rogen. The two also collaborated on the films Knocked Up and Superbad, as well as Pineapple Express. In a strategy to garner interest and funding, Goldberg created a pre-pre-production trailer for Jay and Seth vs. The Apocalypse, a film he is now working on with Rogen. They are also co-writing and co-producing a remake of The Green Hornet, due out in 2010.[1]

In April 2008, Empire reported that Goldberg and Seth Rogen will write an episode for the animated television series The Simpsons.[2]

Goldberg is credited with producing Knocked Up, Superbad, Pineapple Express, and Funny People. He is credited with writing Superbad, Pineapple Express, and 6 episodes of Da Ali G Show.[3]
