Everest printer

A thermal printer from Rimage Corporation, Minneapolis, MN www.rimage.com). Introduced in 2001 and used for printing CD/DVD labels, the ink is printed onto a hard rubber roller and then transferred to the label surface similar to a laser printer or offset press. Special blank media, combined with the tight registration afforded by the retransfer process, allows the label to be printed from the edge of the center hole to the outer edge of the disc.
