You cannot accuse Exelon Energy of lacking energy -- it has access to major supplies of both electric power and natural gas. The retail marketing subsidiary of Exelon 's Exelon Generation unit is an unregulated supplier of natural gas and electricity to commercial and industrial users. Exelon Energy markets electricity to customers in Illinois and Pennsylvania, and natural gas to customers in Illinois, Michigan, and Ohio. It has more than 9,500 electricity accounts in Illinois and about 11,000 natural gas accounts in Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. The company works closely with Exelon's wholesale marketing unit Exelon Power Team to secure the best power prices for their customers.
