Review
Humble Pie's entry in the budget-priced Extended Versions series is comprised of a May 1973 concert recorded by the King Biscuit Flower Hour at San Francisco's Winterland Theater. This post-Peter Frampton lineup includes his replacement Clem Clemson on guitar, Greg Ridley on bass, Jerry Shirley on drums and Steve Marriott on guitar and lead vocals. The band is in fine form with several of tracks taken from the Smokin' album including "C'mon Everybody," "30 Days in the Hole," "Road Runner" and "Hot N' Nasty." Along with Performance -- Rockin' the Fillmore this set highlights Humble Pie at the height of their power. ~ Al Campbell, All Music GuideTracks
