From ophthalmic nerve (anterior ethmoidal nerve)

The external nasal branches (or external nasal nerve) are terminal branches of the anterior ethmoidal nerves (from the ophthalmic division of the trigeminal nerve, CN V), and provide sensory innervation to the skin of the side of the nose and of the septum mobile nasi.
