Fieldon King Alexander is the president of California State University, Long Beach. He received a PhD from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, a master's degree from the University of Oxford and a bachelor's degree from St. Lawrence University.[1] At St. Lawrence, he was a member of the men's basketball team and can be seen around the CSULB campus in pickup games with other students.[2]
Alexander was the president of Murray State University in Kentucky from 2001-2005.[3]
Alexander is married to Shenette (Campbell) Alexander,[4] the coordinator of the Oxford Round Table.[5][6]
