Biography

Fade came together in 2001 when they heard about the American Music Awards Best New Band contest. Drummer Mark Redd and guitarist Chris Brightwell had previously played together, but it was singer/guitarist Nilesh Makwana that brought them back together again to form the band when he heard about the competition. Adding bassist John Hollweg, the band recorded three songs to enter the contest and has been performing live in the southern California area since their formation. ~ Bradley Torreano, All Music Guide
