Jeff Faine (born April 6, 1981) is an American football center currently playing for the New Orleans Saints. He graduated from Notre Dame and was selected by the Browns in the first round of the 2003 NFL Draft. During the 2006 NFL Draft, Jeff was traded to the New Orleans Saints. Faine was a Pro Bowl alternate for the 2007 game behind Olin Kreutz.
Trivia
- Jeff is a 1999 graduate of Seminole High School in Sanford, Florida. He still provides football cleats for the varsity team. Seminole also produced athletes David Eckstein, Tim Raines, and Jeff Blake.
- Mr. Faine has recently been dubbed the "Faine Train," by one of his royal fans at a recent two-a-day practice. It's also stated on the 7/26/07 broadcast of the New Orleans radio talk show.
- His mother is a substitute teacher for various Seminole County, Florida schools.
