Marketing Dictionary:

fast evening persons report (FEP)

Report issued weekly from the nielsen television index by acnielsen company, providing audience estimates and audience composition information for network evening television programs. The report is termed Fast, because it is mailed to subscribers just 9 days following the end of the reporting interval. For example, if the reporting interval should end on Sunday, the report will go out one week from the following Tuesday. Hence, in this example, intervals end on Sundays and FEP reports go out every Tuesday during the first 18 weeks, or more, of the television season, which begins in September.
