Fatherland – All Russia (Russian: Отечество – Вся Россия, ОВР) was a political block formed in 1999 by the Fatherland and All Russia blocks to take part in the 1999 State Duma election and led by Yevgeny Primakov, Yury Luzhkov and Vladimir Yakovlev.
During the pre-election debates, the block suffered from 'black PR' campaign in Boris Berezovsky-controlled media and competition with the similar movement the Unity Party of Russia. 'Fatherland' supported election of Vladimir Putin as President of Russia in 2000. In April 2001 the Fatherland movement and the Unity party took the decision to unite into a single political party, United Russia.
