FCE 28260 is a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor drug with antiandrogenic activity, used in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia and androgenic (or androgenetic) alopecia.

The compound caused inhibition of rat and human prostatic enzymes, with IC50 values of 15 and 16 nM, respectively, compared to the values of 30 and 52 nM shown by finasteride. [1]
