Ferrante & Teicher became popular in the '60s with albums containing lush, orchestrated versions of movie themes. Their breakthrough album, Theme From the Apartment contained music from the Billy Wilder comedy starring Jack Lemmon and Shirley MacLaine. Ferrante & Teicher's albums over the next two decades would feature their take on music from many other United Artist films and other pop hits of the era. In 1976, Ferrante & Teicher released Feelings, which includes the "Love Theme From the Missouri Breaks," "An Affair to Remember," and "What Are You Doing the Rest of Your Life" from The Happy Ending. Other tracks include "Tender Is the Night," "I Write the Songs" by Barry Manilow, and "Feelings" by Johnny Mathis. Overall, the song selection is strong, with a good mix of film music and pop hits.
