File Roller is the archive manager of the GNOME desktop environment.

File Roller Archive Manager can:
- Create and modify archives.
- View the content of an archive.
- View a file contained in the archive.

- Single files compressed with gzip, bzip, bzip2, compress, LZO
- ISO images (.iso) (read-only)
- DEB (.deb) (read-only)
- RPM (.rpm) (read-only)
Limitations
- File Roller doesn't support multi-volume archives for the 7z format (the ability to view or create archives divided into multiple files).[2]
