File Roller is the archive manager of the GNOME desktop environment.

  • Single files compressed with gzip, bzip, bzip2, compress, LZO
  • ISO images (.iso) (read-only)
  • DEB (.deb) (read-only)
  • RPM (.rpm) (read-only)

Limitations

  • File Roller doesn't support multi-volume archives for the 7z format (the ability to view or create archives divided into multiple files).[2]
