FilmFour's fare is for folks fond of film. As Channel Four Television's feature film subsidiary, FilmFour develops and co-finances such titles as 2004's Oscar-winning "The Motorcycle Diaries", based on the journals of Latin American revolutionary Che Guevara. FilmFour in 2005 signed a deal with Oscar-winning director Peter Jackson ("The Lord of the Rings" trilogy) to produce a film version of Alice Sebold's best-selling novel "The Lovely Bones". Even with several film successes (including "Trainspotting" and "My Beautiful Laundrette") behind it, FilmFour was restructured in 2003 to be integrated into the television group, answering to it more directly.
