Finavia is ready for takeoff in Finland. The state-owned company operates about 25 airports throughout country. Finavia and its subsidiaries provide a variety of airport management services such as airport security, air traffic control, maintenance, and parking. Its Airpro Oy unit offers passenger and airport terminal services; subsidiary Lentoasemakiinteistöt Oyj provides office space for air transport businesses. The company's Avia College also offers aviation training in areas such as air traffic control. In order to keep up with the rise in transit traffic, Finavia is expanding its Helsinki-Vantaa Airport.
