First Student Canada, a subsidiary of the UK company FirstGroup, is a major provider of school bus services as well as being a public transit system operator. The company provides services in Canada comparable to those delivered by sister companies First Transit and First Student in the United States.

The component parts of the Canadian operation were formerly Laidlaw Education Services, King Transportation Ltd., Cardinal Coach Lines, Briggs Bus Lines and FirstBus Canada.
