Flashpoint, The Academy of Media Arts & Sciences is a private college located in Chicago, Illinois, geared toward the field of digital arts and entertainment technologies. It offers two-year programs in Film, Recording Arts, Visual Effects and Animation, and Game Development.

Starting September 2007, Flashpoint is offering the following programs:

Scheduling
Flashpoint's programs start bi-yearly, in September and January. Throughout the course of a program, the average Flashpoint student spends half of their time at the main facility at 28 N. Clark, Chicago, and the other half of their time at a production complex in the West Loop, Chicago.
Costs
Tuition costs are $25,000 per year.
Student life
Student life, like the school itself, is different from a typical college.
Flashpoint does not have on-campus student housing.
