Flatlands Avenue is a major avenue in the New York City borough of Brooklyn. It runs approximately east / west, from Avenue N in Flatlands in the west to Fountain avenue in Canarsie in the east.
The avenue creates the borders of Marine park on its northern side, and Midwood on its southern side.
The avenue runs a diagonal path and intersects with a few other major streets in Brooklyn, such as Flatbush Avenue, Utica Avenue, Rockaway Parkway, and Pennsylvania Avenue.
The Avenue for the most part has four lanes, and is divided by a central median when it runs through Canarsie and East New York.
Flatlands Avenue is served by the B82 bus line.
