Biography

Mark and Lisa Flora are unabashed lovers of all things pop--they named their daughter McCartney. Their infectious blend of soft rock, power and bubblegum pop has earned them a small but loyal Midwest following. They met in 1989 in Clark, South Dakota, moved to Minnesota in 1994 and married in 1996. Mark released a solo album called Flora in 1995 before collaborating with Lisa on 1997's These Same Skies. They officially became Florapop on 1999's Tasty! Delirious Crispe EP and went on to release Mark and Lisa Sing Rockabilly Country Gospel in 2000 and Sunshine Saturday in 2004. ~ James Christopher Monger, All Music Guide
