Fontana Distribution is a subsidiary of Universal Music Group that distributes music for independent record labels[1] and was launched in 2004. It provides sales and marketing support, as well as back office services, for a diverse roster of labels and their artists.

Fontana International is the company's US-based operations which has been known to successfully round up albums from Universal labels worldwide for American release.

Fontana distributes more than 70 labels including Hollywood Records, Vagrant Records, Talking House Records, Telarc Records, Ipecac Recordings, VP Records, 1720 Entertainment, American Gramaphone, Quango, Global Underground, Mad Science Recordings, Angeles Records, Bonzi Records, Nitro, SMC Recordings, Upstairs Records, Warcon, Dischord Records (via Southern Records), Nappy Roots Entertainment Group, Strange Music, Executive Music Group (EMG), I Saw You On TV (via EMG) and many others. In addition, Fontana distributes select projects from UMG labels worldwide. The company also has a Canadian division, Fontana North.

Fontana Distribution takes its name and logo from the Fontana Records label.
