Plot

Brothers Harold and Peter Van Zandt (Creighton Hale and George MacQuarrie, respectively) own a small fleet of fishing boats in a New England village. They are both in love with Eileen Arden (Marguerite Clayton), but Harold is too shy to start a romance. Peter offers to help him out, but instead turns her against him. Harold leaves town while Peter marries Eileen. Years later, Harold returns to work on a lighthouse, and he stays with his brother. During his stay it becomes clear that Eileen and Harold still love each other, so Peter goes to the lighthouse to get rid of his brother. The two fight it out, and Eileen, who has discovered that her husband had deceived her, arrives in time to see him fall out of the lighthouse tower.
