Condition in which the metatarsals have an inversion misalignment; the first two metatarsals are in a more dorsiflexed position than the third to fifth metatarsals. It is often accompanied by a compensatory eversion of the subtalar joint at the ankle. Orthotics may be required to treat the condition.
