Fort Osage Senior High School is located at 2101 N. Twyman Rd. in Independence, Missouri. It is named after the Fort Osage National Historic Landmark along the Missouri River in nearby Sibley, Missouri. This school added a freshman center in 1999 and continued major building improvements through 2003.
