Frank Wayne (born Rocco Francis Rossi, Jr.; July 9, 1917 – March 18, 1988)[1] was an American game show producer and host.

Wayne was the first executive producer of the 1972 revival of The Price Is Right from its inception in 1972 until his death in 1988. While working on The Price Is Right, he created the show's most popular game, Plinko.

Wayne is also credited for creating the Match Game and Now You See It formats for Mark GoodsonBill Todman Productions in 1962 and 1974 respectively, and substitute hosted Beat the Clock in 1953 while acting as a writer/stunt creator on the show and later as producer.

As an independent producer, Wayne created and produced Laughline a game show hosted by Dick Van Dyke.

Both of Frank's sons, Philip Wayne (also known as Philip W. Rossi), and Mark Wayne both worked for Mark Goodson Productions and The Price Is Right.
