TV Episode:

Frasier: Analyzing the Laughter (TV episode)

  • Genre: Comedy
  • Movie Type: Sitcom
  • Release Year: 2004
  • Run Time: 55 minutes

Plot

Originally telecast the same night as the final episode of Frasier, this 55-minute "clip" show features highlights of the series' eleven seasons on the air. The clips are framed by a scenario wherein psychiatist Frasier Crane (Kelsey Grammer) visits his own analyst (played by Fred Willard) for a review of his performance over the past year. At this point, virtually all of season eleven is served up in capsule form, along with vignettes from earlier episodes tracing Frasier's various romantic fiascoes, the courtship of Niles (David Hyde Pierce) and Daphne (Jane Leeves), and the wry sidelines observations of Frasier's dad, Martin (John Mahoney). ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
