The Free University of Brussels can refer to either of the following universities in Brussels, Belgium:
- Université Libre de Bruxelles (French-speaking)
- Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Dutch-speaking)
The term is also used to denote the common ancestor institution of these two universities or for collaborations between them, although for the latter Brussels Free Universities, abbreviated BFU is preferred.
