There are many reasons, here are some of them:
Formula 1 cars generate up to 3.5g of force, which requires significant strength to be able to balance and focus through.
It can get very hot during a race, especially when in hotter climates. Drivers can lose up to 3kg of sweat during a single race
It takes strong neck and shoulder muscles to keep your head from whipping around as you go through corners, and powerful arm muscles are needed to keep your arms from getting weary after holding them on the wheel all race.
It also takes VERY strong leg muscles, as the cars are "brake by wire" and do not have traditional power-brakes as a modern road car does.
They say a formula 1 race is as much of a fitness challenge as running a marathon!
FMX riders typically use much of the same riding gear as MX racers. This includes a helmet, goggles, gloves, boots, jersey and MX pants. They may supplement this with elbow and knee pads. Riders may also choose to wear 'body armor' to protect the chest and legs when performing the most dangerous of tricks, as did Travis Pastrana when performing his double backflips. A Leatt neck brace may also be worn if rider are concerned about neck injuries or are attempting dangerous tricks. One major component of Freestyle Motocross is the foam pit. These vary in size, but are usually a rectangular box filled with shredded or cubed foam. The FMX rider will jump from a ramp, practicing one of the more dangerous or prototype tricks, and execute a safe landing into the safe foam regardless of the actual landing position. Ramps are usually made out of metal, as this keep the 'lips' of the ramp consistent. The landing ramp is normally constructed from dirt. If the event has limited resources, landings ramps may be built on trucks or trailers. When freeriding, however, the rider jumps from dirt to dirt.
The AMA's youngest age class is Pee Wee Jr., which is a 50cc class, ages 4-6.
To understand Travis Pastrana you must first take a look at his family especially his dad who is an ex-marine and is also pretty crazy. Yet believe it or not most of his stunts are well calculated and he does them because he basically gets paid to do them because of a sponsorship deal with Red Bull and maybe MTV can use his show to replace Jackass.
Yes, Chad reed is married to Ellie reed and they have a son named tate reed.
The CR85R expert cannot race in the regular 85cc class in the AMA.
A cr85r expert can race in any desert race in the 85 class, including AMA. In motocross its a different story, it depends on what the rules of the track are. Most of the they have a special class for the 85 experts but the problem is that they line you up with the 125 two strokes, and a 125 two stroke is compared to a 250 four stroke so your racing with the big bikes. Hope I Helped, KEEP RIDING!!!!!!i only know a few :
- Senser - State of mind
- Soak - ragdoll
- Senser - Age of panic
- White zombie - devil man

Things You’ll Need: • Motocross bike • Foam landing pit • Protective gear 1) Modify a dirt bike. Freestyle Motocross requires a lightweight motorcycle body with a strong engine and a high-performance shock absorption system. Many riders also trim the seat cushions down for more maneuverability in the air. 2) Build a ramp (or set of ramps) so that you can practice your jumps. Dig into the ground and pile up a mount of dirt as your raw material. Then, build a mini-course where you can practice your tricks. 3) Build a huge foam pit, over which you can practice performing tricks as you go off jumps. You need a landing place that's as safe as possible, since you'll be wiping out as you try to master new moves. You'll want to avoid hitting the ground chest-first from 30 feet in the air when a jump goes awry. 4) Start out by landing straight jumps, without trying any tricks involved. You'll need to master ramp launching and landing before you try to add any tricks to the mix. 5) Find a trick you want to learn, then practice it over and over until you have it down. Nove on to other tricks, until you have 10 or more tricks in your arsenal that you can perform with relative ease. You should wear out the foam pit until you consistently land in the proper position, then move on to landing the tricks on the ground or a landing ramp. 6) Sign up to get into Freestyle Motocross events in your city or region. Check with Freestyle Motocross Online for further information for riders (see Resources below). 7) Enter a competitive event. Most of the Motocross Freestyle events allow non-professionals to enter the event, but you will have to qualify by earning high enough marks from the judges in preliminary competition.
