(statistics) A graphical representation of a continuous frequency distribution; the value of the variable is the abscissa and the frequency is the ordinate.


 
 

A graphical representation of frequency distribution, with the values a variable may take forming the x-axis, and the number of times each value occurs (or percentage occurrence) forming the y-axis.
