Frontier Adjusters is blazing its trail by franchising and licensing the Frontier service mark to independent insurance adjusters across the US and Canada. (Independent adjusters contract with insurers and self-insured enterprises to handle claims that the companies prefer to outsource.) Frontier has a network of more than 775 claims adjusting offices serving mostly insurance and transportation companies. Founded in 1957 by claims adjuster William Rocke, Frontier Adjusters was bought in 2001 by Merrymeeting, an investment company co-owned by CEO John Davies and Netherlands-based IVM Intersurer.
