First wife of Midir who seeks to destroy her husband's second wife, the beautiful Étaín. She takes a potion from Bresal Etarláim, usually described as her foster-father, she transforms Étaín into a fly (or butterfly). See TOCHMARC ÉTAÍNE [The Wooing of Étaín].
