Fuego

Review

Arroyo had become a major favorite among European salsa buffs, and a considerable success on the Latin concert circuit. Novelty aside, the reason is that while he hews to a tight but pretty standard salsa sound, he uses all sorts of Colombian rhythms (including cumbia), thus giving his universality strong local roots. ~ John Storm Roberts, All Music Guide

This article is about Menudo's album. For the album from La Secta see Fuego.

Fuego (1981) is Menudo's sixth Spanish album.

This album was released with two different covers and titles. The first release was titled "Menudo" featuring brothers Oscar and Ricky Melendez, Rene Farrait, Johnny Lozada and Xavier Serbia. This is the second album this line-up recorded together. The second release was titled "Fuego" featuring new member Miguel Cancel. Miguel replaced Oscar Melendez after Oscar reached the age limit. Both albums contain the same songs.
