Fujimi (富士見市 Fujimi-shi) is a city located in Saitama Prefecture, Japan.
As of November 30, 2005, the city has an estimated population of 104,937 (42,767 households) and a population density of approximately 5,327 persons per km². The total area is 19.70 km².
The city was founded on April 10, 1972.
The city is served by Fujimino Station on the Tōbu Tōjō Line from Ikebukuro in Tokyo.
Politics and government
Fujimi is governed by Shingo Hoshino, an independent. The city legaslative assembly has 25 seats and is dominated by independents.
