Gérard Longuet (born 21 February 1946 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, Hauts-de-Seine) is a French conservative politician, co-leader of the Union for a Popular Movement (UMP), former member of the National Assembly of France, Cabinet Minister, and Member of the European Parliament; currently a member of the Senate of France and a close political adviser to Nicolas Sarkozy on political and electoral strategy.
